Interior
The house is the restoration of an old Tuscan barn in stone and brick, whilst maintaining the characteristic wood-beamed ceilings and cotto flooring, and is completely furnished in harmony with the original structure.
The interior is all on one floor, with just 2 long stairs creating a division between the dining and living areas.
The entrance leads to the living room with large double sofa bed (170x190), large fireplace, dining area with satellite TV and a cooking area, fully equipped and illuminated by a skylight in the ceiling.
Rounding up the house are a double bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub and a bathroom with shower. Location Casina di Teo is near to Monteriggioni, an enchanted town famous for its castle, not far from famous Tuscan towns, the Chianti area and the Via Francigena. Facilities The house has Wi-Fi, central heating, baby bed, high chair, mosquito screens at the doors and windows, and a hairdryer. Services The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen along with swimming towels (all changed weekly), electricity, water, gas, internet, baby bed and high chair.
Upon request and to be paid for at the property are dinners, cookery courses, hired help and babysitter. Important Information The pool is available from June 1st to September 27th. Extra costs to be paid on the spot Heating per m3 (cubic meter): 5,00 EUR Final cleaning per booking in cash: 150,00 EUR Tourist tax per person/day: 2,00 EUR Refundable deposit (to be handed over on arrival) per booking in cash: 300,00 EUR Activities and Distances The property is perfect for alternating relax with trips to the typical Tuscan towns of San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Siena, all easy to reach thanks to the motorway, just a few kilometres away.
We suggest visiting and tasting the products of the surrounding farms and wine cellars, as well as going horse riding and hiking trips. 3 km Castellina Scalo (all kinds of shops), 5 km Monteriggioni, 7 km Colle Val D’Elsa, 21 km San Gimignano, 16 km Siena, 35 km Volterra, 52 km Florence. Groceries: Castellina Scalo, 3 km Restaurant: Ristorante Casalta Strove, 4km Golf course: Golf Club Castelfalfi, 46 km Airport: Florence Peretola. 66 km Railway: Poggibonsi, 12 km Shopping centre: Coop Valdelsa (Poggibonsi), 12 km

Fantastic stay. The pool was just wonderful, and private too! Everything was as described and we were even given lots of local recommendations for places to see and visit during our stay, Thank you so much for having us!

We had a very pleasant stay in this 'casa'. It is well equiped, very clean and very private. Giovanni and Laura are nice hosts; very flexible and hospitable.
The only suggestion we have is to provide airco in the bedroom. Days with 35 degrees and up a fan is insufficient. But we loved the house and the location and would definitely consider coming back.

My Husband and I spent a week here on the first leg of our honeymoon. It was perfect! We had such a nice time by the pool and exploring the area. Laura was a perfect host, keeping us updated and making sure we had everything we needed. We will deffinately stay again.
