Marie & Jean vous accueillent dans une très élégante demeure de caractère du XVIIIème siècle chargée d'histoire (jadis "maison de maître" d'un domaine viticole familial de renommée mondiale), soigneusement restaurée dans les règles de l’art, blottie en lisière de vignes & forêts au pied d’une douce colline boisée (protégée en "Zone Natura 2000" pour ses riches écosystèmes faunistiques & floristiques), sise sur une intimiste belle propriété de 7000m² nichée à l’abri des regards derrière d’historiques murs d’enceinte, au sein d’un petit hameau résidentiel, aux confins du paisible & pittoresque bourg de Fontaines bordé par le célèbre Canal du Centre, le village aux "cinq lavoirs" typique et parfaitement sauvegardé, riche d’un patrimoine notable & de nombreux petits commerces.

Le gîte est très confortable dans une très belle maison ancienne remise à neuf. Beaucoup de cachet. Accueil ecellent. L'emplacement est idéal entre Santenay et Mercurey. Nous avons fait du vélo sur les voies vertes nombreuses et dans les collines. Un séjour idéal pour les sportifs gourmands.

Very nice gite with a garden, a warm welcome by the friendly host.The gite is very clean and with a well and up to date equiped kitchen.Other facilities as bathroom and beds also of high standardsA good place to stay as a break on a south bound journey, it's adviced to stay a few days to visit the places nearby.
