Mossyard, home of the McConchie family for five generations, is a traditional working farm situated in a magnificent coastal location with the beautiful backdrop of the Galloway Hills.
Mossyard, located 4 miles west of Gatehouse of Fleet, is in the heart of rural Dumfries & Galloway, south west Scotland. Threaby, a semi-detached property and Meadow's other half, is situated in a peaceful location right at the end of the road for the cottages at Mossyard.
A cottage full of character and all the comforts you need, it is the perfect hideaway! Threaby has an enclosed back garden, and enjoys wonderful sea views with a choice of sandy beaches just a short walk away. We hope you will enjoy everything that will make your stay feel like home from home.
We have ensured there are all the comforts you need for a truly relaxing break.
There are a large selection of DVD's, books and games for your entertainment and a welcome basket of local produce will await you on arrival.
We pride ourselves in providing you with the highest quality equipment, the finest cotton bed linen and luxurious towels - all the small touches that will make your holiday perfect. There is a small 'lip' on the threshold of the doorway.
Once you are inside the property there is a small step from the entrance lobby/utility room into the living room.
The rest of the accommodation is then all one level with no more steps. Dog Friendly Accommodation: We welcome dogs at Mossyard and are happy for them to join you in Threaby.

We loved our holiday in the cottage. We watched birds on the estuary from the window seat and my husband saw an otter. The cottage was clean, well equipped and a few mins stroll from the beach. We’ll definately be back.
