Villa Casalte is part of an ancient farmhouse, located 3 km from the village of Castel Focognano, and surrounded by lush chestnut and oak woods.
You will find yourself immersed in the enchantment of the Casentino, a valley with a glorious, harsh and magical history made up of archaeological sites, castles, goblins, ghosts, forests and culinary traditions rooted in the meanders of memory.
Here you can spend a holiday of discovery and total relaxation, surrounded by green and fresh forests.
Villa Casalte is the ideal accommodation for those who love trekking or cycling in the charming green oasis of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, halfway between the cities of Arezzo and Florence, both reachable in less than an hour by car.
In the characteristic village of Castel Focognano you will find an excellent restaurant where you are sure to enjoy the tasty dishes of the local tradition.
For all other needs you can easily reach the village of Rassina (8 km) or the village of Bibbiena (18 km).
Villa Casalte consists of the main house with 3 bedrooms and a dependance with a double bed.
Because of its characteristics (main house and annexe) this property is also suitable to accommodate several families who decide to spend their holidays together, while maintaining each one's autonomy.
Every day you will be able to choose to spend your days in a different place in the spacious outdoor area.
A breakfast in the pergola shaded by ancient oaks while the children play in the garden, a nice barbecue of meat or a pizza prepared by you in the wood-burning oven, comfortably gathered on the panoramic terrace next to the swimming pool.
On a very scenic natural terrace you will find the beautiful 4x8 m swimming pool (depth 1.10 - open from 1 May to 30 September) .
