Ground floor
Entrance into the slate-floored kitchen-diner; a well appointed room with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and seating for 4. In additional, there is a handy 3-drawer freezer tucked away under the stairs.
The cosy living room benefits from comfortable seating, an inviting log fire plus TV with DVD player should you ever get bored of the views.
A patio door leads from the sitting room out onto a small sun deck, offering stunning views across Coniston Water: a perfect spot for doing nothing but relaxing and soaking up the views.
First floor
Upstairs there's a double room with views across to Coniston Water and another room to the rear of the cottage. If there are four of you, you'll have to flip a coin, it's only fair.
Bedroom 1 - double bed & lake views
Bedroom 2 - twin 2'6" single beds or king size bed
House bathroom with small bath, shower & WC.
Outside
The cottage has a delightful sun deck with fantastic lake views, and a small paved terrace garden below with garden furniture.
There is also a small utility room with washer/dryer in the outbuilding next to the property.
Travelling with a dog?
We can offer free use of a 1 acre field in Coniston village. Use by arrangement only. Please contact the office for availability.
Facilities included
Gas central heating, initial bag of logs for open fire, Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen & towels.
Available to hire
Travel cot & high chair.
Parking
Parking available immediately beside the cottage for 1 small/medium car in a designated space at gable end of cottage.
Please note that due to the location of the cottages on 'the banks' the area surrounding the parking space is tight and care is required when parking/ manoeuvring.
