Welcome to Willingen in the Sauerland region! Look forward to a holiday in our house in a quiet, sunny location with a south-facing private terrace or balcony offering you a magnificent view of the Sauerland mountains. Both holiday apartments offer you modern bathrooms and bedrooms that are separate from the living room. A small kitchenette, satellite TV and Wi-Fi make your holiday with us even more pleasant.
The town centre, the spa gardens and the Ettelsberg cable car, summer toboggan run, visitor mine and the bike park or supermarkets are only a 7-10 minute walk away. The extensive and very well signposted hiking area is in the immediate vicinity.
In just a few minutes by car, you can reach the new 'Skywalk' suspension bridge and the ski-jump Mühlenkopfschanze, the wildlife and fairytale park, cinema and ice rink (open all year round), the large Diemelsee for swimming or boating and the spectacular Bruchhauser Steine nature stone monuments.
With the tourism card, which is included with every stay, you also get small discounts and completely free transport by bus and train in the region.
NEW: from mid-2025, the completely newly built Lagunenbad with several saunas, four water slides and a saltwater pool will also be open.

This tourism tax in Willingen of 3 EUR per person and night and is mandatory to pay in cash on site.
In return, you will receive a visitor's card offering many discounts at the local attractions as well as free use of public transport. Please let us know if you would like to take advantage of this for your travels to Willingen.

Arrival description
There are several cities with the name Willingen in Germany. If you are using a navigation system, you should enter Willingen Upland.
Willingen is centrally located, but the roads that lead to us are rather smaller roads. Enjoy the drive through the mountains as the start of your holiday!
In winter, you should please consider arriving here in the mountains with winter tyres.
Willingen train station is only a 7-minute walk - just a few metres uphill - from our house.

Description of the accommodation
The cosy apartment Sonnenberg on the upper floor (48 m2) is your perfect feel-good home on holiday with large windows from the living room and the separate bedroom including a view of the Ettelsberg with its gondola and the Hochheideturm observation tower. The bathroom also has a window and is bright and modern. The small kitchenette in the living room is practically furnished and the small kitchen table invites you to have breakfast with a view - or sit directly on the private terrace with a spectacular view? The choice is yours! Special feature: a second bedroom with its own bathroom is added to the Sonnenberg apartment for occupancy by 3 or more people. This room also has a separate entrance and therefore complements your stay perfectly if everyone wants a little more privacy. Access to the Sonnenberg holiday appartment is through a shared front door and hallway, which is also used by the Korte family. Surroundings: Two supermarkets are within 5 minutes walking distance including a bakery for daily fresh bread rolls or cakes! Various restaurants are also within walking distance. Directly behind the house, nature awaits you with short walks and spectacular views over Willingen or the very well connected hiking area Eimberg. The large sofa guarantees cosy evenings or an afternoon with tea after a winter walk. The free car park of the Willingen ski area is also perfect for all winter sports enthusiasts and can be reached by car in 3-4 minutes. There are various opportunities for tobogganing within walking distance of the house.
